Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan
The Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan is available to help homeowners in Scotland to install energy efficiency improvements and renewable systems in their property. The grant and loan allows a maximum of £15,000 to go towards the installation of a new heat pump: £7,500 grant plus £7,500 optional loan, or £9,000 grant plus £7,500 optional loan if the household qualifies for a rural uplift.
Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Loan Scheme
The SME Loan Scheme is funded by the Scottish Government and can help organisations to install energy efficiency systems and renewable technologies. To be eligible, organisations must be an SME, not-for-project organisation or charity. The interest-free loan can offer a maximum of £100,000 to organisations in Scotland and up to £30,000 can be available in a cashback grant.
