Dumfries and Galloway College have partnered with Retrofit Academy to establish their only approved centre in Scotland. A range of courses are available and are run online, meaning they are accessible to all individuals and businesses, regardless of where they are based. Funding may be available to Dumfries and Galloway based businesses, and you can contact the college directly to discuss this.

Stirling

Historic Environment Scotland is running a two-day Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency Measures for Older and Traditional Buildings course at their Engine Shed site in Stirling across several dates in 2025.

The course is accredited by the National Open College Network (NOCN) and delivered by experts leading the way in energy efficiency for traditional and older buildings. It’s designed for anyone aged 18 and over, who already has a background and experience in the construction industry.
